We are all guilty of saying we need to get in shape. Whenever we look through yearbooks, ponder over former athletic feats, or think about the good old days when you could get up a flight of stairs without at least breathing a little heavier; these are probably the times, we most want to return our bodies to its former glory. That’s where it ends for most people, with wishing they could return to these days. Such people might go drop $100-$200 on fancy gear, gym memberships, and protein bars or shakes. They might throw away a fridge full of junk food and replenish it with healthy everything. Then the actual work comes in - The dreaded sweating, panting, overheating. By the time a couple days have passed, around 90% of people have thrown in the towel.
When thinking about it from a detoxification standpoint, think about all the negative effects that toxins are having on your body. After the first couple days of exercising, you should begin to see the benefits of proper nutrition and your new active lifestyle. Stick with it - The benefits will begin to intensify. You’re giving those toxins an extra avenue to leave your body through pores when you sweat. So, greatly accelerate the detoxification process. It creates a cycle that will make your goal far more achievable.
Exercise is not hard work to be useful to detoxing, but it does have to be regular and continuous. A 5-minute walk around the yard every day will do more good in the long run than simply doing nothing at all. But combining a detoxing day and exercise should be viewed with caution. Your body is accustomed to being full of food or fluid. If you have started on a juicing routine, then allow yourself some time to understand how you feel before throwing yourself into a heavy exercise routine. You do not want to fall flat on your face from unexpected results coming from your body’s reaction to the juicing routine. Slow, steady, and be aware of any adverse reactions.
