This was our first stop in our van day tour in Bohol.
A Bohol tour is never complete without exploring The Chocolate Hills. This place is one of their most famous signature landmarks.
They say it has around 1,260 hills spread throughout the vast land of Carmen, Bohol. It got its name as Chocolate Hills because it turns brown in the summer because it dries out and looks like drops of chocolates. But at this time it still a bit green because it was a rainy season.
On the receiving area, there were children singing and dancing some folk songs. In the center they had a donation box for people who want to give some cash to these adorable acts.
We then walked up to a lengthy stairs so we could have a better view of the hills. It was an exhausting walk but the view up the terrace was so worth it.
