Selling Fine Art Photography by Nigel Merrick

"The best advice I can give for any photographer wishing to capture a sunset is to turn around and face East..."

the most expensive photograph sold was one entitled Rhein II by Andreas Gursky, which went for just over $4 million in 1999.

First, never send someone who clicks on your ad to your website's homepage.

First, don't be tempted to ask for anything more than an email address unless it's absolutely necessary. You don't actually need any other information at this stage, and every additional field you add to the form creates more "friction" and reduces the number of signups you'll get.
