Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan. I must say I'm a bit biased when I first heard about the concept I was already excited. It does deliver, with an exciting story my only beef with the book is at the end when it suddenly tries to get all deep and philosophical :^/ other than that great book and can fully understand why they decided to make it into a TV Series.
