I recently replaced the ones I had like that when we moved. Decided it was time as the tape fixes wasn't working anymore. I replaced those paperbacks with hardback editions of the books. Wish I would have thought to have taken photos of them.

I can’t say that I re-read too many books, if any at all! I’m really weird when it comes to books. I like them pristine, and if they get bent up even a little, or a page gets a little dirty, I think argh!! Ok, I used to be a lot worse. I’m not as bad anymore, but I still get sad when they get a used look to them.

THIS ONE IS FALLING APART. I LIKE IT; LOL! I actually bought this one in Hardback, so It will last better. Reading is how I relax sometimes. But I do have several that have suffered form re-reads. I bought a set of books that are 150 years old that need some repair, but I bought them to conserve them.

Have a dvd on how to fix them, BUT I may pay to have those fixed. Right now I am reading the old jack tar, to see if they are worth it.
I have been thinking about giving them to www.gutenberg.org to be digitized.
