Would you recommend the book for an older, retired lady? She is spiritually inclined but not Christian.

    I would! I actually sent the book to my mom to read, just because I feel like anyone in any stage of life can get something out of it, and with the way the chapters are divided, it's really easy to skim or skip past a chapter you don't think you'd find helpful or interesting!
