Books You Need In Life: My First Book Recommendation

in books •  7 years ago

I figured I would start with the textbook that I read in my Interpersonal Communication class. The best part of this textbook is that it really doesn't feel like such. You can probably find it at a cheap price online or perhaps even in your very own college library. I highly recommend this book for any profession in life. Knowing how to communicate with your peers is perhaps the best skills to have in your career.

If I had to choose 3 highlights for you to read they would be:
1. Chapter Three: Nonverbal COmmunication
2. Chapter Five: Self-Concept and Self-Esteem
3. Chapter Eight: Perception
Hope you, the 1 person that might see my first actual post, enjoy this read!

Am I really the first person to upvote and comment on your very first post?? That is probably appropriate since I am a communication teacher. I’ve been teaching the interpersonal course for almost 30 years! So, as you might imagine, in warms my heart that at least one student in the world appreciates their textbook :). I actually agree. When I took the class as a sophomore undergrad I was very surprised how much I enjoyed the text the and course. You should try writing some posts about communication. It would be interesting to read your perspective as a recent student. I’ve written some comm posts if you’re interested in checking out my blog. I wrote one recently about watching Central Park Five in class as an example to go with the perception chapter. Welcome, and cheers!

I will definitely post more about my perspective on communications and talk about it in the world around us. My books I will be sharing are also based around this subject and self improvement. Thank you for taking interest in my post. I'll check out you blog too. It's pretty flattering that a Interpersonal teacher took interest in my post. Means a lot.
