I just finished listening to Neil Gaiman's Fragile Things.
Yes.
On CD.
Yes, I checked it out from the library. It's free that way.
A few things:
- I count this as reading a book.
- I am jealous not only of Gaiman's writing ability, but his voice acting ability.
- The audio book is nearly eleven hours long. I only listened to it in my car. And I checked it out last week, so I learned I drive A LOT MORE THAN I EVER REALIZED.
I need to listen to more books. This taught me I can listen to a book in short chunks as I run to the library and Starbucks, and dropping the kid off at school.
Gaiman did the recording for this book. And as an indie-author myself, I want to do my own audio recording for my books.
Gaiman has a great ability with his voice acting.
What books have you listened to on audio? What do you recommend?

Of course I didn't sit for 11 hours with it all once. I would listen to it bit by bit as a I drove to my different places. I just surprised myself at how often I am in the car.
