This year was a rough reading year for me. I didn’t read nearly as many books this year as I wanted. As I grow increasingly frustrated with modern fantasy works, I have found myself reading older books. Of the books I did read only three came out in 2017, but I thought I would make a best of the year list anyway. Here is hoping 2018 will be a better year for new fantasy.
And here we go, The Best Books of 2017 by Mighty Thor JRS:
#3 – Book Review: Red Sister by Mark Lawrence
3.5/5 Stars
#2 – Book Review: Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames
4/5 Stars
#1 – Book Review: A Gathering of Ravens by Scott Oden
5/5 Stars!
This really was an awesome book! I hope more people will check it out and give this book it’s proper due!
A special mention to Thune’s Vision by Schuyler Hernstrom
This did not come out this year, but I found out about it and read it this year. This book is amazing and blew me away!
