As a companion to yesterday's post, Necronomicon 2 was the second major book of paintings published by H.R. Giger. It was originally published in German in 1985 and released in English in 1992. It features 184 of Giger's nightmarish paintings, along with commentary that affords a fascinating glimpse into the famed artist's psyche. This is the first English language edition:
