When I was younger, I used to think boxing day was actually a day for actual boxing. I thought it was a stupid tradition. I mean why put a day people could get in the ring right after Christmas?
Of course I was further from the truth than I realised. Boxing day actually is a day to box up gifts and give to family and friends, hence its name boxing day.
Even though we are in a pandemic and can't all go to shop for the perfect gift, we can still give each other the gift of hope, love, and joy.
