Braised lotus root

My daughter said she wanted to eat boiled lotus root, so I bought a bunch and boiled it.

It is good to boil the lotus root in water with vinegar for about 20 minutes to get rid of the astringent taste.

Crunchy and chewy boiled lotus root is delicious yum yum~^^
