Brand Storytelling - How do you attract your customers?

Hi guys, this is my 2nd post on Steemit and would like to kick start with brand storytelling before others aspect like social media or into technical stuff.

I decided to write this as many people think its the *Worst * idea to attract people's attention.
I couldn't agree more to that statement IF the story line are unclear or no clear message.

Many wonders does storytelling actually works in this digital world? What makes it so special? What makes it work?

People like us, entrepreneurs or even business owners that have to work a day job.. in order to build a successful business.

But what makes them successful? It's because they tell better story.

So I'm pretty sure you'll be asking; What is Brand Storytelling and how it helps in branding?

Brand storytelling isn't a new concept; but it becomes a direct strategic approach for customers to remember about you.

When talking about stories, you need to speak truthfully. Honesty and transparency are important in brand storytelling. Yes, you're crafting "stories," but they need to be rooted in the reality of your brand, products, and industry. In other words, even brand stories must adhere to the three primary steps of brand-building: consistency, persistence, and restraint.

You need personalities; the poor & rich, commoners and royalties, beauty and the beast or Harry Potter!

After it, you need characters to play role in the movie or game. As mentioned about, HARRY POTTER movie is something easily to cheer for! You need to create some characters for audiences to like and dislike. The important thing is to create characters that enable your audience to become emotionally connected to them to such an extent that the audience wants to follow their character through.

Every story needs to have a beginning, middle, and end. The ups and down, the blissful moments, the horror came, the struggles to overcome, the defeat or victories..

But the most powerful secrets is... don't give it all away..
Make suspense and eave your audience wanting more, and they'll come back again and again.
Notice how Marvel or DC movie, always have a sneak pic of Part 2 or Volume 2,3,4.. Fans LOVE THIS!!

Stories are the best way to distinguish yourself from the other brands in your industry.

Why?

Because people always remember a good story. A great story that personifies your brand is what you need in order to position yourself in the most effective way.
