My Family Uses a LOT of Bob's Red Mill Brown Rice Flour
as a gluten free and blood type neutral flour. We make gravy, biscuits, pancakes (LOTS of pancakes lol), cakes and more. It behaves a little differently (in some aspects) than wheat flour and there are many sources of information on the web on how to use it. :)
I Got Tired of Buying 1lb Packages at the Local Grocery Stores
and went looking for it online at a less expensive price. Here's what I found...
Source | Price | Shipping | Cost Per Ounce |
---|---|---|---|
Bob's Red Mill 25lb Pkg | $33/25lbs | $45 | $0.19 |
Amazon 25lb Pkg | $51.71 | Free | $0.13 |
2 Pkgs (24lbs) Bob's Red Mill 48oz 4-Pack | $42.32 | Free | $0.11 |
I Pay $10 Less and Get 1 Ounce (edit: 1 Pound. That's a $10 lb of flour!) Less Buying 2 Packages of the 48oz 4-Packs
Which is just fine by me. :) I do not have an Amazon Prime account, so I don't get free shipping unless my order is over what... $35? Purchasing 2 packs of the 48oz 4-packs gets me the free shipping. ;)
Go Be Awesome!
CHECK PRICES!!!
It seems some days the 24oz 4-packs are the least expensive. Other days the 48oz 4-packs are the least expensive. Crazy! :D
