Branching Out

When I first started making videos last summer. My focus was on trying to start my channel, make good content and hopefully build it into something others would be interested in. Making money was never my focus. After all the cost of a GoPro was more than I would make in several years on YouTube. But, the chance of it possibly happening later on in the future was enticing and albeit was a small driver, it was still inspiration to keep putting out content. However with YouTube's aggressive treatment of smaller channels and policy updates as of late. I have decided to not put all of my eggs into one basket, YouTube being that basket. So I am going to give this platform an opportunity and also upload to other platforms in the hopes of keeping my content spread out wide enough that if YouTube does make it impossible to grow a small channel, I will have other irons in the fire.

As I sit here with my first video, a video I posted about a week ago on YouTube uploading. The slow server speed is the first difference I notice. Also the minimal customization offered for each channel. I have no doubt both of these rather minor annoyances will change in time.

If you have stuck through the first part of this post, thanks! The focus of my channel will be build videos of the Punisher build, my 2000 Dodge Dakota with a twin turbo LS swap. I will also be posting videos of my GMC project truck as well as videos from the shop, tech tips, How-to videos and anything else automotive related.

I will also be posting numerous videos related to the Raspberry Pi dash projects and all that you can do with them as well as how to build your own.

I look forward to creating and sharing content on this new platform and look forward to interacting with you, the viewer.
