I was in Denver a couple of weeks ago and took an evening photo walk all around town. Here are some shots I took with my Sony A7ii Mirrorless camera.
I was staying up 16th Street so I walked straight down 16th over the Millenium Bridge to the River and crossed a couple of pedestrian bridges. This is one I particularly liked.
Coming back across the South Platte River, I got this shot looking upstream. I think that’s Denver’s mile high stadium in the background.
Here’s the same bridge up close just as the sun started to dip behind it.
As I went upstream back in the direction of my hotel, I went past several old rusty bridge with a lot of character. They were an interesting contrast to the shiny new condos behind them.
The one below had a couple of old rail cars being used for kids activities.
Being away from home on business isn’t always fun, but I make the most of it by wandering around to see the cities I visit on foot.

Superb captures of the mile high landscape. I do love Colorado and everything they have there.
