Zhouzhuang is located in the southeast of Suzhou, southwest of Kunshan, and is known as the "First Water Town in China", one of the six ancient towns in Jiangnan. Zhouzhuang's Shen Wonsan is a well-known figure. Legend has it that he was the richest man in Jiangnan during the Ming dynasty, making a fortune through overseas trade that could rival that of his country. He helped Zhu Yuanzhang build a third of Nanjing after he had set up the capital at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, and also asked for funds to treat the army. In the end, he was still censored and exiled to Yunnan by Zhu Yuanzhang, and his family began to go into decline
