Britain loses the plot

Britain, the birth place of classical liberalism, industrialization, and arguably the progenitor of the modern world, has completely gone off the rails. Legal protections for Free Speech are essentially gone. Hundreds are jailed for hate tweets every year, in London alone. People are prosecuted and jailed for jokes online.

Violent crime has exploded, completely discrediting the theory that state imposed weapons restrictions reduce violence. Despite the total failure of weapons control to reduce violence, Britain is now pursuing a policy of aggressive knife control. It's even been suggested that kitchen cutlery should be collected so that the points can be ground down.

It's quite sad to see a nation that was once a beacon of liberty for the world reduced to such a state. Thankfully, most people in Britain are aware that something is very wrong with the current government. Let me know what you think, and tell me if there is anything we can do to help.
