Computer Fundamentals - Browsing the Web

in browsers •  7 years ago

Browsing the web is what you probably do the most. I'm going to cover all of the popular browsers and what to expect when browsing the web. A website is a collection of related text and images stored on an external server. A Browser is not the internet, it's software created to view internet pages. I cover Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Windows Internet Explorer and what to look for when viewing secure pages. HTTPS means it's secure, and safe to enter user names and passwords. Keep an eye out for it. Firefox will tell you if it's just HTTP. Enjoy!
