Tom Lee, co-founder and strategist at Fundstat, predicted that Bitcoin (BTC) would reach $ 25,000 by the end of this year in an interview with CNBC on January 18th. Lee predicted that BTC would arrive at this level in 2022, if he had previously predicted it.
Wall Street strategist CNBC said today that by 2022 BTC will reach a level of $ 125,000.
Lee's prophecy came after a very fast week in the crypto market, and BTC's $ 10,000 breakthrough showed that the market came to a level below December 22 after a sudden collapse. The decline in December was only days ago when Bitcoin was worth $ 20,000. Lee predicts that Bitcoin, which has tested $ 9,000 levels this week, will test several levels in the year.
"We expect the lowest level of Bitcoin to be $ 9,000, and we will be aggressive buyers at this level, I see $ 9000 as the biggest acquisition opportunity in 2018."
Estimates for various subcoins have also been released, predicting that Lee, Ethereum and Ethereum Classic will grow by about 90% by the end of the year and NEO by about 50%.
When we look at the year 2017, coins in the market are already growing at least 2X. Personally I expect Ethereum to see $ 6,000 levels, but this rate may be even higher. The nearby facilities for the production of Ethereum have caused the hush and mining difficulties to come to a halt and you know that what is little is appreciated and the Ethereum advances are going to be very difficult.
