メルカリユーザーは、2月15日からアプリ内で保有するビットコイン（BTC）を商品支払いに利用できるようになることがわかったそうでこの新機能により30億を超えるメルカリの商品群をビットコインで手軽に購入することが可能となるそうで、このサービスは株式会社メルカリの子会社である株式会社メルコインが提供するそうですがこれは凄いニュースですしメルカリは最近では日本だけではなくてアメリカなどでも使われ出しているため結構期待は出来ますが残念な点としてはメルカリのアプリ内で購入したビットコインしか使えない点ですね。
Mercari users will be able to use Bitcoin (BTC) held within the app to pay for goods from February 15.
This service will be provided by Melcoin, a subsidiary of Melcari, Inc. This is great news, and since Melcari is now being used not only in Japan but also in the U.S. and other countries, it is quite promising. However, one regret is that only Bitcoins purchased within the Mercari app can be used.
