The quest for the best hotels...

It is much easier now than it was ten years ago to find a good hotel. Why is that? Ten years ago, you had to find maps offline and try to get a grasp concerning the location of a hotel. Today it is much easier. You find the city you are interested in, find the attractions you are interested in, and then you can find hotels located in that area automatically.

Booking engines like Booking.com even makes it possible to filter the search results to a certain attraction in order to find hotels in that exact area.

Still, I was working very hard yesterday on an article about the best hotels for Christmas market tourists coming to Budapest. It was quite a lot of work, because I wanted to feature good hotels, both for those who want to spent a lot of money, and also for those who'd rather spend less on their accommodation and instead spend their money out on the Christmas markets, at restaurants, and at other places.

Would you like to find out which hotels I recommend for Christmas market tourists in Budapest? Take a look at the article and find out!

It is quite strange, because I am that kind of guy who rather spend little money on a cheap hotel and then spend money elsewhere. But, as I read and did some research on some of the best hotels in Budapest (that I know quite well already), it made me feel as if it would have been really awesome to stay in a hotel like Hotel Aria once. But then again, is it worth spending 4x more to live in a hotel with luxury and to get a fantastic breakfast, free wine and cheese between 16.00 and 1800, than to spend 4x less on accommodation, and for the difference, you can eat royal meals, buy 10 bottles of wine, and have a breakfast you will remember for a long time elsewhere?

What do you think? Where would you rather stay?
