Problem: I have a html widget on that loads content on a page. This works for a while and then the content disappears. After an IIS application pool restart, everything's works fine again. This cycle repeats itself every few days.
System:
- Orchard CMS v1.7.2
- IIS 7
- Microsoft ASP.Net Framework v4
- SQL Server 2008
- Windows Server 64bit
Today, I've most likely determined what's causing this issue. When SQL Server timeout error is thrown on server A, server B content is missing. We have multiple servers sitting behind a load balancer.
Next week, the team plans on working with the DBAs and load balancing specialist to resolve. I'll keep you posted.
