Bullying is defined by Merriam Dictionary as an abuse and mistreatment of someone vulnerable by someone stronger or more powerful. It is an act of using one's ability to force someone or give threat to a person.

Here in the Philippines. Our former President, Benigno Simeon Aquino III signed the Republic Act 10627 or also known as the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013. The law asserts that no person, not even a child must experience this kind of abuse.

Although there is a law about bullying, but a lot of cases arise. A law is just a law written in a luxurious paper if it is not properly enforced. Sad to say, but, we mostly experience this at school.A lot of cases of students dropping out in school because of bullying. Going home crying because his/her classmates hurt him/her. Some students experience being traumatized. Or worse, some ended their life because they can't take it anymore.

Let us teach our children not to hurt others. Physically or emotionally. It will have a huge effect to the one who is being bullied. Although, I believe also that "Friendship without bullying is absolutely boring", but we should always pit in our mind to never go beyond our limits. Not to the point that we will hurt our friends or other people. We have to balance it. We must not cross the borders. We must be considerate of other's feelings too.

One of the keys to happy living is never hurt others. Love one another. By that, you can wear a happy smile and always have a happy heart.
