I had Burkitt's lymphoma cancer in 2010. Here is what I did to survive my cancer treatment.
- The first thing is don't give up because the doctors are gonna take good care of you.
- I felt like I was in a prison and I was hording my food items by the end of my stay there I had a whole stash of drinks and treats. One thing I felt I wish I could of had was a bite of home cooking for the memories. Eat and drink a lot even if your not thirsty or hungry.
- my freaking bones. geez I don't know but I learned my lesson hospital beds suck. I've invested in an semi thin air mattress with sheets from home to make it feel like home. they make them for sleeping bags air mattress. remember to get one that fits in their hospital bed though cause they have the don't fall side bars and adjustable feature.
- I had no friends. so it made it easier for me cause I had less stress. the only thing I'm concentrating on is getting better.
I hope your treatment goes well for you. stay strong. you can do this.
