Buthidaung: Extremist Moghs (Rakhines) hit a Rohingya child with their motorcycles and critically injured him in a village track of Buthidaung Township on 23rd July 2018, report locals.
At around 4:30 pm, few Moghs (Rakhines) motorcycles were passing through the Kya Ga Bet Kan Pyin village tract and intentionally hit a Rohingya child who was playing nearby.
After the incident child is in serious health condition now and is in need of immediate treatment. Further, even his parents have been affected by Hepatitis C virus, but could do nothing about it. Healthcare services have been totally restricted for the Rohingya in Arakan (Rakhine) state and even in emergency, travel restrictions have further made the situation to an intolerable level for the patients. Denial of health care is one of the rooted genocidal tool in Arakan (Rakhine), where Rohingyas lost thousands of their lives, which could be saved even with basic health care facilities.
