i remember heading along to open day at the burton marketplace when it had been redeveloped, they had spent some good money on the place and really made it nice, they retained the market space feel and although i felt the costs were probably a bit over the top i really liked the idea of having a popup space -- i've still got a few ideas of how that would go down from building up our plot from scratch but it would probably be a bit radical for some and i doubt we could build some of the pieces on site, we would have to have them pre built and then build them up inside the venue -- that being said, we would not be looking for footfall traffic per say, maybe in time put a name to a face inside the space and have a pick up and collection service offering instead, either way. i'm always amazed by spaces trying to re-invent themselves. we can learn a lot of valuable lessons for ourselves.
