Things have slowed down a bit since the time building up to Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Monday it was a lighter passenger load on my usual morning route with having just about 20 people. I needed to stay later at work so I took the 6:58 bus which was empty.
Today I took the 5:30 out of Stony Point. It started off slow but it picked up. The driver let me off at the exit of the commuter lot. Not sure which way is faster but my job doesn’t seem to mind me punching in a few minutes late. They wanted me to stay later but I’ve been run down and I need my rest so I left when I needed to. It hasn’t been that long since I took the 97 at 3:58. I would have settled for the tiny bus if it was on time. It was a few minutes late and had a few passengers. Since the 91 is scheduled a minute before the 97 those getting off between Haverstraw and the mall take whatever comes first. The bus ran into traffic so it was ten minutes behind.
