1.Employees using their personal smartphones in hours of work can have many advantages such as keeping work organized in a neatly manner effortlessly, save the money that would have been spent buying more equipment, allows faster and easier communication, allows employees to be more flexible. Although such beneficial advantages exist there are also drawbacks to it such as security concerns, might interrupt the employee's workflow by having them getting distracted by other apps and games on the phone keeping track of who gets access to what data can be hectic.
2 Management wise as mentioned in the first question that keeping track what employee's smartphones can be a nightmare and employees should keep their time management and productivity high at all times as these devices can easily distract. Technology factors that need to be addressed include having the company configure their network to receive connection from a certain device so that that certain device can access the company's information. Organization wise factors like how the customer should not find the way employees work confusing are to be considered as well as to make sure that the device is actually an asset or a drawback when it comes to workflow and productivity
3 Yes, I do believe that allowing employees to use their mobile devices will significantly help save money as there will be less money spent buying every single employee computers and other pricey applicants. The company will no longer have to spend money fixing and repairing the computers that are to be used instead of a smartphone. No more travelling costs when wanting to meet with a business associate because when using an iPhone, you can easily within 10 seconds have a video conference call and have the meeting.
