Evaluation of a link must be made based on several factors, listed below.
 

How the site where you receive a link from must be:
Is the site indexed with one or more pages?
Does the site have a good authority?
Is the site reliable?
Does the site have fresh unique editorial content or not?   Is the site updated periodically?  Does the site contain relevant topic with the website you want to promote? 



  


How the page of the website where you receive a link from must be:
Is the page indexed?  Does the page have authority?
Is the page reliable?
Does the site contain relevant topic with the website you want to promote?
How many links does the page give to other sites (OBL)?
Does the page have hidden links? 



 Conditions for a good link:
 Is the link text or image? Text links are better.
 How the anchor text is? Does it seem natural or spam?
 Where is the link located (site wide, footer or context)? The best links are placed in context.
 What level from header is the link located?
 Is the text link visible in a color that does not jump in the eye or the same as the site?
 Is the link use a redirect script or is it direct and easy to index? Direct links are the ones you must get.
