YouTube is a fantastic platform for exposure – but everyone knows this, which means getting noticed on the world’s third biggest website and search engine can be tough. After all, 400 hours of video are uploaded every minute a lone: not all will reach their audience.

It’s not all doom and gloom, however – there are a few simple techniques you can leverage today that will put your video leagues ahead of others. Helping you to get noticed by the people you need the most: your target audience.

The best thing you can do is monitor what your customers are talking about online – this shows you what they’re looking for, which means you can create custom videos that do just that. With the simple fact that you’ll be on the front page of Google if you get your keywords right, you’ll be in pole position to snap up leads every day.

It’s also worth developing your own style: think of TV productions and their branding, and see if you can create a style that’s uniquely yours and recognizable to others as your brand. It goes a long way to getting you noticed, and also helps you look like a true pro.

You’ll also want to ensure that all your videos end strongly, with CTAs, use of cards and end screens to tell people what to do next. This is often overlooked, but a very powerful tool that enables you to guide people where you would like them to go.

Finally, use the creator studio to optimize your channel with monetization, longer videos, custom thumbnails and more. Put all these together, and you will soon have a profile to be proud of!

Great points you clearly outlined @jimmy147. However, YouTube is becoming vast troublesome. Especially, content monetization. I was formerly a YouTuber and Google clearly made me believe that "Anything from Google can't be relied upon".

Nevertheless, it's still a cool platform and I hope they'll care more for their content creators.

Thanks for sharing Jimmy!
