Forbes (USA) has announced the list of billionaires in the world in 2018. Accordingly, Vietnam this year has 4 billion asset owners. That is Vingroup Chairman - Pham Nhat Vuong, CEO of VietJet Air - Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, President of Hoa Phat - Tran Dinh Long and Chairman of Thaco - Tran Ba ​​Duong.

This is the sixth year in a row, with $ 4.3 billion worth of assets, ranked 4th in the world, up $ 1.9 billion over last year. He was first honored by Forbes in 2013, with $ 1.5 billion, ranking # 974.

With Ms. Thao, this is the second time she has contributed to the list of billionaires in the world, with assets of $ 3.1 billion, ranked 766th. She was a member of the board of directors of several commercial banks in Vietnam before joining the HCMC Development Bank (HDBank) as Vice Chairman of the Board. She is currently the CEO of VietJet Air.

Meanwhile, Duong and Long are the new billionaires of Vietnam this year. Both have assets of $ 1.8 billion and $ 1.3 billion respectively, ranked 1,339 and 1,756 worlds.
