A brand that is spread across too many ideologies, representations or even too many products will in the long run loose its brand power. Hence the first law of branding is, choose a scope or a niche, concentrate your forces on it and dominate.
Your brand becomes stronger when you narrow your focus. The market is like a hard shell, and for your brand to penetrate, you must concentrate your fire on a single spot of that thick back. Spraying your efforts around will only bring about frustration and no results.
Offering a lot of products under the same brand name will assuredly lower the quality of your brand and with time your ROI. In branding, experience has taught that more is often times less and vice versa. Same goes for the ideology, images, and representations of your brand.
Its better to narrow your scope to an extraordinary few that spend your fortune on everything to get back nothing. NARROW YOUR FOCUS.
Lets Keep Going!
