Dear Steemit Companions, I will introduce traditional Acehnese Foods namely Thimphan Cake and Meuseukat.

Timphan Cake


This is a traditional food of the aceh people, this food is often found in the morning in coffee stalls that exist bebagai rural and urban areas as well as a typical meal to be served to guests during the celebration of Eid al-Fitr or Adha (Uroe Raya Idul Fitri or Haji, Acehnese language). This timpan cake is generally textured flabby and wrapped in banana leaf, where the stuffing there is using coconut sharps that have been mixed use palm sugar or srikaya. there are materials to make timphan.

Meseukat Cake


Meuseukat is one of the traditional cake from Aceh or a kind of pineapple typical of Acehnese pineapple. Meuseukat made from wheat flour and pineapple blend, this unique alloy produces sweet flavor and soft texture. usually this cake is served for the occasion of a celebration or big day that is when the bridegroom delivery during the wedding (Intat Linto Aceh language) and can also be made souvenirs typical aceh, for ingredients in making this Meuseukat cake is.

This is the way in making traditional Acehnese Cake Meuseukat


  1. The first step, peel the pineapple fruit and then wash.

  3. Then strain the orange and pineapple juice, set aside

  4. After that, heat the frying pan and cook water, then put the flour and orange juice and pineapple

  5. Stir constantly until boiling, After boiling the butter input

  6. Stir constantly until the dough has thickened and solid. Lift

  7. Furthermore, Maeuseukat ready to be formed according to your creations. Meuseukat Traditional Acehnese Cakes are ready to serve.

Sahabat Steemit yang Terhormat, saya akan memperkenalkan Makanan Tradisional Aceh yaitu Kue Thimphan dan Meuseukat.

Ini adalah makanan tradisional dari orang-orang aceh, makanan ini sering ditemukan di pagi hari di warung kopi yang ada bebagai daerah pedesaan dan perkotaan serta makanan khas untuk disajikan kepada para tamu saat perayaan Idul Fitri atau Adha ( Uroe Raya Idul Fitri atau Haji, bahasa Aceh). Kue timpan ini umumnya bertekstur lembek dan dibungkus daun pisang, dimana isiannya ada yang menggunakan sharp kelapa yang sudah dicampur menggunakan gula aren atau srikaya. Ada bahan untuk membuat timphan.

Bahan Pembuatan Kue :.

Tepung ketan 200 gr
Banana king dipanggang 250 gram
2 sdm salad kental
Garaskan 1/4 sendok teh
Kapur putih 1 sendok makan

Isi bahan:
Dimasak udang cincang kecil 25 gr
Telur ayam 2 butir telur
50 ml pot tebal
Gula 100 gr
Parut kelapa muda 50 gr
Tepung terigu ½ sdt
Daun pandan 1 lembar
Vanilli 1/4 sdt.

Meuseukat adalah salah satu kue tradisional dari Aceh atau semacam nanas khas nanas Aceh. Meuseukat yang terbuat dari tepung terigu dan campuran nanas, paduan unik ini menghasilkan rasa manis dan tekstur lembut. Biasanya kue ini disajikan untuk acara perayaan atau hari besar yaitu saat penyantunan mempelai pria saat pernikahan (bahasa Intat Linto Aceh) dan juga bisa dijadikan souvenir khas aceh. untuk bahan pembuatan kue Meuseukat ini.

tepung terigu 500 gr
Air putih cukup
1 potong
Jus jeruk 2 buah
butter50 gr

Inilah cara membuat kue Meuseukat tradisional Aceh:

  1. Langkah pertama, kupas buah nanas lalu cuci.
    Setelah itu parut nanas, peras dan ambil airnya.

  2. Kemudian, peras jeruk kemudian campurkan dengan jus nanas tadi

  3. Kemudian saring jus jeruk dan nanas, sisihkan

  4. Setelah itu, panaskan penggorengan dan masak air, lalu masukkan tepung terigu dan jus jeruk dan nanas

  5. Aduk terus sampai mendidih, Setelah mendidih masukan mentega

  6. Aduk terus sampai adonan sudah menebal dan padat. Mengangkat

  7. Selanjutnya, Maeuseukat siap dibentuk sesuai dengan kreasi Anda. Meuseukat Kue Aceh Tradisional siap sedia.
