Facebook and Twitter information to get US visa!

The US State Department has given a proposal to the country's government. It has been said that applicants for the US visa will have to provide information on social networking Facebook and Twitter accounts.

In this case, in the first five years of the visa application, the applicant had a known identity of their social media. This information will be used to verify information about immigrant and non-immigrant visa applicants.

At the same time, their five year telephone / mobile number, email address and travel history will also be submitted. These information will also be provided whether the applicant was expelled from any country before and whether a relative was involved in terrorist activities.

This proposal will not affect the citizens of the United Kingdom, Canada, France and Germany - who get visa free travel in the United States. But citizens of countries like India, China or Mexico will have to go through this process.

Since the terrorist attacks in St. Bernardino, California, 14 people were killed in 2015, social media was under surveillance. The authorities then said that the messaging platform had an attack on the aggressors, but they failed to identify it. Then, in May, the rules were made that law enforcement officials will be able to check the social media activity of anyone.
