I got to crypto last year during the summer. I've mined some Ethereum and when the priced boomed I wouldn't know where it would stop and I tough that the sky is the limit. I've put myself a threshold of 500k USD for all my portfolio and was hoping to reach it during the year.
But, as we all can see the market took a turn on us and today I don't know if my portfolio is worth even 5k USD. But to tell you the truth, while I have put my mining activities on hold, I must say that I didn't stop for getting involved in the blockchain industry. My latest activities were focused on increasing my wallets, rather than looking to the current price on the downtrend (crashing) market.
Thus, I have focused on the following activities:
- Steem - my biggest time consuming and rewarding investment as I am involved in different projects on the platform and also looking for some of my own. Some fun added the Steem Monsters game, which I like to play and also did some investments in it. What is great with it is that even the market went as low as it could, the Monster still have good value
- Arbitrage between exchanges - looking for a price high than a price low and transferring between exchange would bring me some gains. Not too much 1-5% gains while it takes some times to match the transactions, but still a good income source
- Trading - I sorta failed on this, it doesn't look for me unless I follow some other big players. Still, worth considering it.
- Airdrops - get new tokens at the right moment for free, while have some value later on. Low visibility initially, but it increases in time.
And that would be it for me as time doesn't allow for others. Nevertheless I consider STEEMIT the most rewarding one, fun to work on and socially attractive.
