Unlike other conflicts in our lives, the kind of relationship I mean, or the crises we have in relation to God, the loss itself brings with it a huge crisis of tension, and pain is a conflict like no other.

Just as the conflict in our relations is an opportunity, the conflict of mourning leads to an abyss and is really the way to enter into a conscious contact with God. If we can do the research.

Believing that a conscious contact with the living God is possible, we carry in faith.

Many people believe in God for years and decades, serve diligently, and when they come down the path of faith, they have a kind of private crisis in the intimacy of their own heart, they know they do not know God.

Here's the pain to be. In the possibility of the loss that leads us in our experience to go further towards a background of suffering that we have never known, the true knowledge of God is found. God is a gift. It must be used by a conscious contact. And every moment of suffering is pregnant with the possibility of living our Lord with us, even when we are swept from the Abyss into the abyss of darker sadness.

What I am talking about is the possibility, not the likelihood.

If we seek God, if we touch, if we call him hopeless, he will answer us.

And faith is what it calls even if we do not hear an answer.

Nothing can isolate from the affection for God, especially in the loss, especially in pain, and in the pain of the confused and overwhelming season. The knowledge in our minds is to invite this reality through experience, in the time of God, in our hearts.

In a way, God purifies us by his presence, as we cling to faith and every day we adhere to our hope, the best we can, for a time when our suffering means a world of meaning for us.

Yes, strange and ironic, as it sounds, pray for a day when what you suffer now may be grateful to you.

Nothing can isolate us from this part of God's affection, which prevents catastrophic agitation. Yes, even in this way of life, which seems so strange to live, God does the good of what should not be possible. Even from these ashes comes a new hope, which stems from the compassion and kindness and sweetness of Jesus.

Somehow by its presence, through the klaphendening mouth of terror, while we hold firmly in confidence, it comes through day to day.

Even in a loss, especially in a loss, we can learn that nothing can separate us from the love of God. And perhaps you, like me, will discover that it is the loss that turns out to be the way God shows us how much he loves you.
