In my previous posts I've showed you how Prussian blue forms on filter paper. Well, most of the reactions occur in solutions. So I thought that it would be interesting to show you how Prussian blue forms in a aqueous solution.

So I made a solution of Potassium hexacyanoferrate(III).

And added a few drops of Ferric chloride (Iron (III) chloride) to this solution.

A precipitation reaction occurs, the Prussian blue forms as a precipitate and falls down to the bottom of the beaker.

We have to thank @stellabelle and @jerrybanfield. It was because of them I joined and continue to write here. If it wasn't for them, Steemit definitely would not be where it is today.
