• New Moon (1 and 9), The moon stands between the sun and the Earth

• Increasing Moon (2 to 4)

• Full Moon (5), the earth stands between the sun and the moon

• Decreasing Moon (6-8)

Effects of the Moon on the earth

• On a full moon and cloudy, the moon provides quite bright nights. Many people and animals are very active here.

• Causes the tides, i.e. ebb and flow, and affects shipping and fishing. Full Moon and Storm can lead to severe flooding.

People on the Moon

From 1969 to 1972 the Moon was entered by people several times. Probably the best-known astronaut is Neil Armstrong, who, with the Apollo 11 flight, was the first person to walk the moon and said, "a small step for me, but a big step for mankind." He then worked with Buzz Aldrin for almost a day on the lunar surface.

Using a faucet for dash, which I use regularly, I was inspired to write about the moon.
