You got that right! I am for sure not “there” yet 😿 but the lesson I am learning in these past 2 years are HUGE and painful. I wish to feel “devine” and master such precious virtue so much but those weak moments run me over sometimes and makes it hard and harder instead. I try to keep my heart open but those stones are still here and don’t loosen up. Oh well ....a little bit.....@happy.food.life (my words are also for you) it’s not wrong to be weak! It’s a part of

Honestly?
I'm weak in some cases. But is that wrong? For me, it feels more right to stand by my hurt feelings.
Even if that, from a spiritual point of view, may be a failure.

As long as it feels honest to me, everything's fine.

😎 Me neither! I'll take it a little calmer today. However, the last 5 years have been a big challenge. Through the beginning of menopause (early), so many things have happened that have brought me down. I know what you're talking about!! 😉 I hope the enlightenment will come soon! 😂

That’s a big achievment. It shows that you are a strong and a wise person. Although it’s really hard to forgive sometimes, especially when the other person didn’t apologize, it’s mostly for ourselves we do it. We forgive and that heavy burden goes away. It’s like getting emotionally cleanced of something that shouldn’t be there. Otherwise it would keep hurting from inside until you forgive.

You are absolutly right but the funny thing is that I feel so “weak” at this particular time. Short on words!
I guess I had to post such simple quote today because I needed to remind myself as well as everybody in this community, what true strength really means..../

I agree with you its really had to forgive especially when the one being forgiven for never really apologized. We doubt the move to free ourselves from pain like we should be carrying it around. @Mammasitta confesses of feeling 'weak' yet we all know she's stronger than most people. I think after being bitter for decades, I know being free of inner baggage and pain is the most unrelated freedom there is :)

That’s so beautiful!
My “burden”, the personal baggage started causing real Heavy physical pain on my shoulders and neck, created stones in kidney, gallbladder and even breast. What other clear message I needed to receive from the universe, to understand that true Freedom and peace can only be achieved through forgiveness of our own mistakes and your “loved ” ones. Empathy! We are All just human!
There is no freedom without learning how to master this virtue!

@mammasitta, I dont know if you have heard the expression "what other people think of us is none of our business", which is so true but a hard one to understand. But once we learn not to take everything so personally it makes life a lot easier for us, but as you said, everyday a small step forward to understanding and accepting these things. To err is human and to forgive is divine. Forgiveness makes us strong, it builds confidence in us and prepares us for stronger challenges. Most people ill never be sorry for their wrongs and will hardly apologise even when they find out their wrongs. Wow. Genau das musste ich irgendwie gerade lesen. Mir fällt Verzeihen und Loslassen total leicht - vorausgesetzt, mein Gegenüber entschuldigt sich. Andernfalls finde ich's super schwer, die Verletzung komplett gehen zu lassen. Was eigentlich Quatsch ist, da das negative Gefühl dann ja bei einem selbst bleibt. Yes, it took me a while to get over the hurt, but eventually I mellowed and no longer hold that grudge. In fact, I am helping that person out time and again - it's just, I know she is sorry, but she never said so. Sometimes it is hard to admit one made a mistake. Doesn't matter. Water under the bridge. I believe in Karma.

Oh Gee ! So sorry to hear but you sound familiar to me. What do we have to go through sometimes is insane but as long as we have learnt our lesson it’s all good.
My hurt is still too much and therefore I am not ready to forgive yet. I wish I could.
