At the start of a new week, you're presumably looking forward (or not!) to a whole new set of to-dos, tasks, plans, projects and actions that will be competing for your time and attention.
Before they begin to stack up afresh, I think it's a good chance to introduce a new system to help you prioritize and set your plans. No doubts most people are struggling with their workload during some crunch time, but after adapting these few life jacks i'll be showing you, your effectiveness will be skyrocketed.
Then you can now:
- Plan 3 times more content and still publish everything on schedule.
- Produce 3 times more creative ideas for articles.
- And most importantly: you can comfortably complete all your tasks on time every day (no more overtime!)
But before then, lets take a look at what i call the Scales Method and it's simple to grip and easy to adapt. It will help you to quickly judge how to prioritize tasks/plans based on cost and benefit and gives you clear cut actions for how to attend through.
Futhermore, it can be done in just 10 minutes a day. Are you interested to learn it?
- Set aside 10 minutes for planning
When it comes to dealing with productive issues,it is very important to plan before taking action. Notwithstanding, don’t become so involved in planning that you become captured in it and never move beyond first base.
My advise is to give yourself a specific time period for planning – but keep it short and brief. Correctly, 10 or 15 minutes. This should be adequate to think about your plan.
Use this time to:
Look at the big/gigantic picture.
Think about the current target and goal that you need/want to accomplish.
Set down out all the tasks you need to do.
Align your tasks with your goal
source
This is the core element that makes the Scales Method effective.
It works like this::
Take a look at all the tasks and projects you’re doing, and reconsider the importance of each of them. Explicitly, measure a task’s importance by its cost and benefit.
By cost, I am referring to the effort needed per task (including time, resources, money). The main benefit is how close the task can bestow to your goal.
