I got busy on gameguru last year but i crashed out around december, mentally, and i really havent done much since, steemit seems to have revived some interest in a little scripting but at a snailpace and i only function well at night ...
I remember trying some of this when i just got on and i got WRECKED by nazicleaners and their team of enlightened content fascists with no own talent because it was "not steemit" content , so let's try again, its time-saving week i want my distroscipts to be ready so i can get back to the fun-stuff

the upgrade to GG 1.14

all kinds of stuff that didn't fit anymore , textures the needed relocating and remapping and re-whatever and whatnot, slightly over 9 minutes to make all that happen hah hah hah

well, as you can see (if you actually read and watch, the house has been built a bit further by now, i dont chronometer it but i think that also took slightly over the 9 minutes it takes to watch this vid ... just a little, probably

the overall look of the game seriously improved, as did the lighting down to a little lens flare there, texture show better and sharper and all looks a bit smoother, on top of that its a 5-10fps increase which is just what the doctor prescribed at that point really, i thouhg using minimaps would improve but the fact that ebe-object have SO many polygons to them (i'm not sure you're supposed to build whole housing blocks with it but well .. mister thats not how its done , that's not how i roll, right ?)

the living room looks living room , nice tiles, plastered walls, the window can be shattered (although its an explosion animation , didnt find out how to change that yet then. Everything just look a LOT more detailed and more rounded and softer with this patch, the inventory and open container scripts work just fine, so that's just attach to whatever object could possible hold another one and keep all that in containers

DO NOT SAY ARRAYS WHEN ITS LUA lol : containers , containers for containers, how appropriate, holes in the wall ACTUALLY allow shooting through it

SERIOUS pathing issue though , the moment i put floortiles the a.i. script for the npc's or mobs gets wonky, like they're all in the k-hole and cant see where they're going, makes it pretty much unplayable, well you can just shoot them cos they dont notice you for some reason, something i didnt dig into , since i was already on the crash then ... this is the last vid i have, i didnt do anything on it after that since i just SLEPT and i havent been me since, not that i was me before that but there was a little more of me, and it got a little bit sparked by being busy on it, just like it does now by being on steemit, but i can't say i'm really me ... and i doubt i'll ever be again

yes, the outside and inside of walls have both been plastered separately, window panes have been built into it brick by brick, a LOT that doesn't show, hour and hours

(no, poincgames is clearly not microsoft free but i think thats the only thing windows is useful for : directx, otherwise its a total waste to install on a production-pc)
i had to remove all audio because youble claimed copyright crud b/c of some music playing in the background so my nice voice explaination is gone, i hope to get back to stuff like this, especially the rpg on maker after i get the rest here up and running, but first things first and then the rest
