I genuinely dislike this subreddit. I honestly don't even like reddit but...

This subreddit is going to be one of my favorite places in the next year or so. This place is the watermark I think. Its where the most people will be rekt into the ground. This is ground zero. This place is going to transform the most out of all places on the cryptocurrency stage. This is it!
I suspect it will either stop existing or it will transform greatly. I see very little reason to expect this place to survive long term. Not in its current state anyway. The arguments are going to transform greatly.

• We have the most people here who argued endlessly about the lightning network, plasma, casper or X pie in the sky idea that is either years and years off or never going to happen. Rekt.

• We have the most people here who are not even THINKING about working products and uses cases. Rekt.

• We have the most people here who dont even realize coins they hold have zero working products and they dont care. Rekt.

• We have the most people here who actively shun actual currently working products in the crypto space and would rather use centralized alternatives. Rekt

• We have the most people here who dont understand that while ETH does have working products they are vastly under used and lacking in throughput. Rekt. (Some ETH dapps are very useful but many are not. ERC20 tokens ect...)

• We have the most people here who think that transactions per second is irrelevant. Rekt.

• We have the most people here who are still arguing about first mover advantage and product name recognition. Rekt.

• We have the most people here who will argue endlessly about the importance of decentralization with zero regard to the fact they choose to commit these arguments on a centralized platform when Cryptocurrency provides many alternate options that are genuinely superior choices. Absolutely Rekt on multiple levels.

• We have the most people here who still have no idea at all what the best use cases are for crypto and just bandwagon with no actual understanding of the given technology. Absolutely Rekt on multiple levels.

• If you genuinely think this is near the bottom then Rekt.

• Use BTC as your savings account and litecoin as your checking account. HAHAHA Rekt.

• A store of value. Rekt.

A love this place (r/cryptocurrency) because this is it. The bright flash flash. That first gleam of light right before the nuke goes off. The first suicide watch posts, the first demands that the government fix the problem! BTC crushes below 800-300 USD in full capitulation with months of sideways action after a lukewarm V shape recovery. The realization that dapps have to be run like actual money making ventures and depending entirely on speculative value is dangerous. Stable coins everywhere! Decentralized exchanges everywhere. Dapps everywhere! Fiat gates everywhere! No need to buy BTC or ETH for trading pairs!

Oh no where is muh value? OH NO YOU MEAN PEOPLE USE THIS SHIT FOR SOMETHING? Hurrrr durrr crypto is fundementally useless! Working products will never garner actual value! That's like saying you can make money by providing a good or service! Nobody believes that!

The part where the survivors realize, if we are discussing dapps, maybe we should be using those dapps to discuss the dapps! What a novel idea! Why use reddit to talk about crypto when cryptos best use case is to talk about things! This is going to actually occur to people! Most people have no clue that cryptos best use case is to talk about things!

I really do genuinely see such massive changes coming its going to be amazing. And this shoddy, poor example of a place to get your crypto news will be as relevant as television or rotary telephones. This is the greatest example of the final old guard social media getting crushed with the very same red candles that Bitcoin itself portrays. I think this is one of the greatest moments of crypto history honestly.
I feel optimistic!
