The Hidden Secrets of Money(Tojukaka Daily Crypto Show)

On today’s episode of Tojukaka Daily Crypto Show, I want to talk about the purpose of cryptocurrency and the hidden secrets of money.

I've been listening to Mike Maloney before he started talking about cryptocurrencies. Mike Maloney is a gold and silver investor and businessman. He is the owner of goldandsilver.com a precious metal investment company. Mike did not do these videos to talk about the cryptocurrencies. He did it for gold.

There is a common belief amongst gold/silver junkies and cryptocurrency guys. It is the belief(which is based on fact )that the current financial system which is run by a group of private individuals called the Federal Reserve is an immoral scam. The USD, Naira, Pound is not money. One of the features of money is that money is a store of value. USD is not a store of value. It depreciates over time because of bank induced inflation. USD is currency.You can call it fiat money. But it is not true money. Gold is money, a true store of value because it is scarce and cannot be counterfeited by the government or banks throught the process of inflation, quantitative easing, reserve ratio or whatever fancy name they can come up with. It is not subject to inflation.

Do you know that the USD was created to be a receipt for gold? So there is ideally supposed to be as much USD as there is gold in the universe. So we can say that the USD is backed by gold. Today that is not the case. The USD is backed nothing but faith government(which has a track record of being unfaithful).

One of the ideas behind cryptocurrency is that we can have a currency that is not backed by the government. We don't have to trust them anymore. The State can remove their filthy hands from our property and freedom. We can have a decentralized currency that is transparent and governed by technology and mathematical principles.

Mike only started talking about cryptocurrencies quite recently and he is even a supporter of Hashgraph. I was really pleased to hear him talk about cryptocurrencies.
