Yes Jerry, wise words indeed :)
I Purchaced 1000 Steem when it was much higher than today. As a long term investor I don't really care too much about the current value. I'm in this for the long term.
Also, I have a different way of looking at my Stocks & Crypto investments. For example, I didn't purchase 1000 Steem because of a $ value, I purchased it because I wanted 1000 Steem.
I took away the $ value which enables me to be disconnected to any market dips or rises.
Another thing too, if you have purchased Steem or any investment, Stock or Crypto. If your mindset going in wasn't "I can afford to lose all of it", then any dips could, and more than likely will be stomach churning!
2 main things I'm going to takeaway from your post are,
- HOLD, HOLD and HOLD!
- Get ready to purchase more Steem :)
Thanks again Jerry
PS: Also, thanks so much for introducing me to Steemit :)
