Dramaful day part 1

Dramaful day

Today was a dramaful aka drama filled day. There were maybe 3 major meltdowns today and a few more smaller ones. Way too many for a day I reckon.
We woke up early because the hubby needed to go into church early(1 hour earlier than I would need to) and there were no trains for him to catch but slower buses instead.. he was almost out the door and I said we’ll just come with you. He told me we needed to get ready within twenty minutes.
At that time I had just woken up and Toby was still fast asleep

I quickly got dressed and we gathered our belongings, food for Toby, clothes and nappies. A banana for breakfast.. and then the hubby exploded the egg he was trying to poach for Toby in the microwave.. lucky it wasn’t too much of a setback just a nuisance and perhaps the second egg was less cooked and Toby had diahrrea later.
Managed to get the hubby to change Toby’s nappy while he was still asleep and then he would wake up after that and we’d quickly get him into his clothes and out the door.
Anyhow fast forward to church. We arrive way too early so we just hung around outdoors half the time because Toby was too loud inside the chapel, all he wanted to do was play the drums but because it was an early traditional service they didn’t like drums let alone a child playing them on stage 😅
I let him play out the back where some plastic play equipment was but it was still wet from the dew.. told him not to but he eventually got his pullover wet so I made him sit in the sun to dry off for a while but he then wanted to eat biscuits.
We went back into the crèche room and he played with the toys there and ate biscuits while I did a little quiet time.
Later had to send him back to daddy because I had ladies bible study. He cried and clinged but I said my see you laters.
And now I’m super tired.. I have typed so much and only up to 930am!!
