Just Showing Up Is Underrated

People tend to underestimate the power in just showing up. Have you ever worked on a project or a job that felt like it wasn't going well? Instead of quitting you just kept trying to make it work? There is a special pleasure when something that felt hard or too messed up works out.

^ this is a lie... often success doesn't show up until you've been showing up for a long time. :)

I've had many phases in my life where I questioned what I was doing and why, but I have a personal rule to keep showing up until the next thing comes along. I always know when the next thing arrives and it is time to move on. I've gotten old enough to trust that.

Not all days are good days, and they certainly don't always feel successful, but if I put real effort in and continue to show up things have a way of working out, although, often not exactly way I thought it might.

Today was one of those just show up days for me in many ways. Having shown up for the rest of my tasks I figured I would also meet my commitment of a post... "almost every day".

I do have to say, I'm kind of glad this day is nearly behind me. :)

How about that Bitcoin? Wow.. And Steem finally gained a few satoshis back also.

Who knows how all of this turns out? I don't. This is one more day I can say I showed up.

Eventually, it tends to pay off or you find a new thing to show up at.

I'm just going to keep on posting.

It's awesome you keep showing up. You are probably one of Steem's most active users.

Investors are going to be looking at cryptos other than Bitcoin. Time to show them what this place has to offer.

It will be interesting to see what he launches if anything. Even if Steemit 2.0 is amazing, it'll take a while catch on.

Ironically, he may create awareness for blockchain social media and traffic heads towards the more established and advanced brand. Dan could be an unwilling Steem saviour.

Yup, Showing up is 90% of it and breaking it down into little bits so it becomes easy. Persistence is key. How about that bitcoin. Moon Mission is great success. I am working on improving STEEM so hopefully it will get some performance soon.

At this point I've totally integrated posting(mostly) daily into my day to day routine. It would be really weird for me not to post. I'd feel like something was missing.

It should have been really fun to watch STEEM also go up like other alt coins having a bull run. Steem staying behind in this race is like No fun and waiting for that bull run for Steem to return. !dramatoken

There is a lot of truth in this.

I think that just making yourself be where you need to be is half the battle most of the time. It seems best to just jump in and see what happens a lot of the time.
