Mikey and Leo (Leetta / Leonarda?)

This is my next submission to the photo contest. To be honest I am not too sure who started it, I am still rather new here. I am just trying to go with the flow.

This photo is of my 2 Yellow Bellied Sliders. They are a bit over a year old. I have had them since they were the size of a quarter and now they are bigger than my hand (palm and fingers). This is them perched up under their basking light. I love my turtles and treat them as if they were my kids.

I had named them Mikey and Leo after the Ninja Turtles but putting a gender classification on them is a bit tricky until they get older. However, Leo seems to be developing the characteristics of a female turtle.
