This is my 1st entry to the B&W Photo Contest organized by @daveks
I took this image in the south west of France on the Bourdaines beach. The rider (my friend) is not on a surf. It's call a skimboard, you run from the sand in the direction of the coming shore break. The goal is to have a perfect timing, jump on the board and go against the wave to ride it. It's a very intense sport, you basically never stop running !
