I really like the first photo @jaybird. The angle you shot from really makes the tip of the building foundation stick out. I just finished up a Darm room photography coarse and I think I will have to take some more photos and post them. See if I can do better than yours, BaHaHaHahaHAHAHAHAH... great work as always jay! Cheers

Oh thanks! I tried to get creative. There was a wall and moat surrounding the castle. I think that's what instigated the perspective choice. Also shooting from low made it seem taller etc.

Hi, which camera did you use for making those pictures? I really like them. (And I really love Japan :D ) Currently I'm working with an EOS 550D, but I think about buying another one soon. So I try to get some useful information about which one to buy.

Oh right! I totally forgot to mentioned that in the post... Honestly, i'm embarrassed to say that at the time all I had was my iphone 4S lol. I was riding around on a bike all day and that's what I had to use to snap all my photos...

Haha :D
Okay, that's a suprise. But I have to say I like the photos of the iPhones at all. I use an iPhone 6 by myself. But would love to have the 7 Plus and the Portrait Mode. But I'm still suprised by the quality of the 4s. Maybe I should use and older iPhone instead :D.

Haha, sometimes it surprises me too. I think it's all about what you do with it, not necessarily the equipment. Obviously better equipment improves the quality in most cases. However, if you don;t know how to use a focus or a lens proper, won't make a difference lol. Might hurt your photo.

First shot is the best one! thanks for sharing!

Thanks! Ya I agree whole heartedly. I'm banking on that one.
